Anergy is proud to announce that we have clocked more than 200 runs of "amazing race" styled corporate team building race (we call it anergy synergy race) since our inception.
The TV programme "Amazing Race" has revolutionalised they way treasure hunts (which has been around for decades) are conducted for corporate companies. Ever since we ran our first team building race in Sentosa, Singapore in 2003, we have ran at least 1 race somewhere in Asia every month ever since.
Our first overseas race was in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2004. We were with a group of about 200 pax from Citibank and they were putting up at the Mines Resort in K.L.. Mines resort has a fairly large compound and it was easy to plan a race in terms of finding suitable locations for group sizes of about 15 a group.
They were so happy with our programme that when they planned their team building offsite in 2005, they immediaely called us up. This time, we went to Berjaya Times Square Hotel in K.L. and like most city hotels, the venue posted a challenge to us as we merely had a large ballroom that was designated for the event. However, from that challenge we learn that there are many spaces that we can use even in a city hotel.
The rest is history, to date, we have ran team building races in various locations around Singapore, in Langkawi, Malaysia, in Hong Kong (Ocean Park & Disneyland), in various resorts in Bintan & Batam Islands (Indonesia). We are also confident to say that we will be able to run a race in most, if not all, cities around the world.
Last but not least, we dare to say that if you have not participated in our Synergy Race, you do not know what you are missing yet. Our team building tasks are designed to keep the entire team engaged and each of them draw out an interesting learning point. From our experience of more than 200 races, we have fine tuned our race system such that all participants get an equal chance to perform at different stations.
We also learn that when we are faced with a venue that poses difficulties, if we just relay more on our creativity and positive attitude, we will emerge tougher and more experienced. This is often what we often try to bring out in our participants when we conduct races for our clients.
