Team Cooking Show -
Salad Dressing (can be non-competitive)
Salad Dressing is an excellent team bonding game where participants get to show case their culinary skills (limited to salad or sandwiches making as most hotels and function rooms will not allow actual cooking in its premises). Making salads and sandwiches is also less intimidating that cooking a real dish – this will encourage even people with no prior experience to attempt the challenge.
In this game, teams are given the task of producing a cooking programme that shows viewers how to make salads that are look good and taste great.
The judging criteria will be given to the teams and they will be required to involve the whole team in the show and also take charge of the logistics required for the show.
First, the teams will have to brainstorm on salad dishes that they can whip up within the time line. Next, they will have to think of the main hosts of the show and any props that they may require.
After the script is out, the team will have to purchase the necessary ingredients from a grocery store nearby and prepare the dishes and make all other necessary arrangements to prepare for the show.
At show time, the teams will take turns to present their cooking show to the judges. The judges (this can be either VIP from your group or it can be our trainer and staff) will grade the show and also taste the food that has been prepared.
If you have not tried it before, making salads as a team can be relaxing and fulfilling (provided that you have a good project manager in your team). Through this team challenge, the participants may discover hidden talents of their colleagues and also exercise their creativity to produce an entertaining show for the others. The session will be a hot discussion topic for weeks or months to come.

This team building cooking show can also be run in a non-competitive format where the entire team introduce a few salads to make up one cooking show.
