Outdoor Team Building -
Rocket Scientist (can also be done indoors)
Rocket scientist is another interesting structure building game that requires participants to design and piece together a working catapult that can launch a weight to a particular distance.
The materials given to each team are identical (some sticks, binding ropes and a bucket) and they will need to brainstorm to invent their catapult, then execute their plan to transform the raw materials into their propulsion gadget.
Initially, it may seem unlikely that the materials provided are suitable to make the device that is required but as time passes, the participants will slowly see their invention materialise.
After the equipment is being made, the teams will need to practice to make sure they are able to launch the weight accurately at a target. As the "rocket launher" is manually propelled, getting the catapult to lauch the weight accurately will require the combined efforts of the entire team. Coordination among team members is also crucial.
Participants will then take turns to launch their weights and scores will be taken to find out the winning team.
Learing Values:
Rocket scientist will require participants to think and make use of the available resources creatively. They will also need to work closely as a team and support one another when the launch is taking place.
Through the game, participants will also need to distribute their workload and allocate their resources wisely. They will also learn to share resources, and learn from one another.
Required Logistics

Plenty of drinking water for participants to hydrate themselves
